What to Wear, Bring, and Expect at Puppy Yoga Bali

Updated: Aug 1

Woman doing yoga in Bali surrounded by rescue puppies

First time joining Puppy Yoga Bali? Here’s exactly what you need to know from outfits to must-bring items and what the experience really feels like. Let’s make sure you’re 100% ready… and puppy-proofed.

What to Wear to Puppy Yoga in Bali

  • Comfortable yoga-friendly clothes. Think flexible, breathable, not too precious (accidents happen, from the puppies, not you). To avoid the scratches of the crazy little puppies we recommend a teeshirt over a sport bra : they can maybe jump on your back during the session

  • Avoid white. It’s Bali. It’s yoga. It’s puppies. White doesn’t usually survive.

  • Long hair? Tie it up. Unless you want to become the ultimate tug toy.

  • Barefoot, of course. We provide clean mats, just bring your good vibes.

🧴 What to Bring

  • Your phone. For photos. You’ll regret it otherwise.

  • Water bottle. We offer welcome drinks, but hydration is always key.

  • A change of clothes. Optional, but handy if a puppy gets overly cuddly (or playful).

  • Open heart. Cheesy? Maybe. Necessary? Absolutely.

No need to bring a mat – we’ve got you covered.

What to Expect

  • A full yoga class (suitable for all levels). You’ll move, stretch, and breathe… with puppies bouncing around.

  • Rescue puppies only. All dogs come from Aseman Bali Dog Association. No breeders.

  • Surprise moments. Like a puppy falling asleep on your back mid-downward-dog.

  • A lot of smiles. And probably a few happy tears.

Pro tips

  • Arrive 10 minutes early (puppy snuggles don’t wait).

  • Don’t wear dangling jewelry – it’s basically puppy bait.

  • Don’t stress. You’ll be guided the entire time – just show up and enjoy.

Whether you’re a total yoga newbie or a certified dog whisperer, Puppy Yoga Bali is about connection, joy, and giving rescued puppies a chance to trust again.
