Puppy Yoga Bali - Our values, actions and commitment to animal welfare

A passion reflected in every sessions, guiding every one of our actions.

(Really) Supporting association

Yes, they’re all rescues.

Saved from the streets or bad owners.

They come from 1 incredible shelter:

Aseman Bali Dog Association : 350 dogs, 0 cages.

Every ticket supports them:

→ Part of your payment = direct donation

→ Over $20,000 donation raised 100% for them

→ One puppy house built

→ Huge boost in visibility (3,600 tags / 5M views)

→ And… 70 adoptions in a year 🥹

Small idea, huge ripple effect.

And we’re just getting started.

Full article : At Puppy Yoga Bali, every puppy you meet comes straight from the incredible Aseman Bali Dog Association, a shelter that cares for 350 dogs, completely cage-free, and full of second chances. These puppies have been rescued from the streets, or from previous owners who simply weren’t the right match for them. They arrive with a whole bundle of stories, a few sweet quirks, and a quiet hope for brighter days. And together, we help them get there. Gently, patiently, and joyfully. Our commitment to Aseman isn’t just symbolic. It’s fully built into the heart of what we do. Every session you join supports them in concrete, visible ways. A part of every single ticket is transformed directly into a donation for the shelter. In just one year, that’s meant more than $20,000 going straight to their care. That support opened up incredible doors. A brand-new Puppy House was designed and built, dedicated purely to giving the youngest rescues a cozy, safe environment to grow up before they join the older dogs. Beyond that, weekly vet visits are now possible for all 350 dogs. Their food quality improved. Vet bills are way more manageable, and even the dream of a future puppy café inside the shelter is now in progress. But the impact isn’t just about money. Thanks to our daily social media content, Aseman’s visibility has expanded like never before. Over 3,600 Instagram tags. More than 5 million video views across all our platforms. That ripple effect brought new volunteers, new foster homes, and an entire wave of new donations they could never have imagined. It’s not just social fame : it changed their reality. With more people aware of their work, more dogs could be rescued. With more adoptions happening, more room could be made for new lives. More volunteers. More visits. It’s a simple but powerful circle: puppy joy meets human love, human love meets puppy rescue, and somehow… Everyone wins. What started out as “just” a yoga class with puppies turned into a movement that genuinely lifts an entire rescue shelter. That’s the kind of unexpected magic we live for. And behind the scenes? The truth is, we never even dared to dream it could go this far. But it did. And it’s only growing. Thanks to every single one of you who shows up. Week after week. Sharing a mat with these brave little hearts. Turns out, kindness scales beautifully.

Helping the rescues to find a home

70.
That’s the number of rescue dogs which got adopted in one year 🐾

(before us? Only 2 per year…)

That’s a +4,200% adoption rate.

Why it works:

→ Puppies meets dog lovers, daily

→ They regain trust to humans, get socialized

→ Participants fall in love… and adopt

→ Others share online → 3,600 tags = reach explodes

→ More adoptions, more dogs saved 💛

You zen out.

They find a family.

rescue dog in the arm of a Human feeling safe again

Full article : At first, adoption rates at Aseman Bali Dog Association were modest. Only around two puppies found a new home each year. Not for lack of love or care, but simply because people didn’t have the chance to meet them in real life. Out of sight, out of mind. Since Puppy Yoga Bali started? 70 adoptions in just twelve months. That’s a 4,200% boost (yes, we did the math.) How? By giving these puppies a space to shine. During our sessions, they’re gently introduced to a world of kind, patient humans. Day after day, they rebuild trust. They learn to play again, to ask for belly rubs, to show their wiggly tails without fear. It’s incredible to watch, in just three days on average, a rescue pup can go from hiding under a chair to sprinting across the room for a cuddle. That social confidence makes them so much more adoptable. And let’s be honest: participants fall head over heels. Sharing an hour with a puppy who blossoms from shy to silly is unforgettable. Many go on to adopt, tell their friends, or share their joy online — and with 3,600+ tags, those stories spread far and wide. The result? More adoptions, more lives saved, more space for new rescues. From two adoptions a year to seventy. From hiding in corners to finding families. Turns out, one little yoga mat can make a pretty big difference.

Raising donations for the 350 dogs.

20 000$
That’s the amount of donations we’ve raised and 100% sent to association in one year.

We believe in action. Not just intention.

That’s why (really) giving back, is part of Puppy Yoga Bali’s DNA.

→ A puppy house built from scratch in the shelter

Weekly vet visits now possible for the 350 dogs

→ Food, meds, and bills covered

Puppy café project inside the shelter supported

$20,000+ raised in direct donations

More rescues made possible ♡

We aimed to have an impact.

We didn’t dare to dream about having such a big one.

It’s all thanks to our participants.

Thank you for helping us help them.

Sessions designed for their well-being. Not just yours

Here, puppies come first. Always.

That’s why our sessions follow their rhythm. Not yours.

It’s their world. You’re just stretching in it :)

Session supervised by a team of 6, with minimum 1 person from the association.

They have their own room, with AC, their own bathroom (yes, really), unlimited (bottle) fresh water, same food as in the shelter, calm space anytime they need, a custom AC 4x4to travel like royalty… Oh, and a garden of 300m2 they can access anytime.

If you see a puppy running in a grass mid-downward dog, don’t be surprised 🐾

We’re among the only Puppy Yogas worldwide to welcome so many puppies per class, between 10 to 14 ! The reason ? The perfect ratio. For them. (even if we know you love it too)

A no cage policy, forever. Like in the association :

350 dogs, all of them live free.

Even our participants have rules to respect as letting the puppies come to you, not opposite, if they nap, never wake them up, only taking them in your arm authorized while sitting, never disturbing while eating / drinking….

We’ve thought of every detail.

Because they’re rescues, and it’s finally their time to shine.

A girl doing yoga surrounded by rescue dogs

Full article : At Puppy Yoga Bali, everything is designed around them. Here, puppies are free to nap, play, explore, or just watch. If they feel like skipping a class, they can stay curled up in their own air-conditioned nap room, with the bathroom which is just for them. Or they can nap right on a comfy bed in the yoga studio itself, if that’s where their heart takes them. They even have a 300 m² garden they can access anytime, so don’t be surprised if a pup decides to chase a butterfly mid-savasana 🐾. And yes… They travel in their own fully air-conditioned 4x4, like the VIPs they are. Sessions are capped at 3 per day, with a minimum of 45 minutes break between each, so they can recharge. A conscious choice, compared to European Puppy yogas running up to eight classes daily. And if they want to skip, they skip. If they want to join halfway, they join. We came up with the number based on scientific literature supporting three well-structured, positive social exposures per day, with recovery windows in between, as the ideal framework to build resilience and adaptive learning pathways in puppies. Studies on canine enrichment confirm that repeated, gentle social interactions, spaced by predictable breaks promote robust neurodevelopment, stabilize heart-rate variability, and help consolidate social memory. Puppies generally thrive with up to 60 minutes of playful, safe contact before needing to reset their stress hormone balance (oxytocin and serotonin) and avoid overstimulating their hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis. Our timing, with 45-minute rest periods and a capped three-class structure, supports their cognitive flexibility, emotional regulation, and gentle social growth. Exactly what a rescue pup needs to blossom🦋 And because growth deserves a gentle stage, we made one more choice: the puppies you’ll meet aren’t always the same. This rotation gives more rescues the chance to socialize, rebuild trust, and practice positive interactions in a calm, joyful environment. Exposure to new, kind humans, even in short, predictable doses proven to enhance resilience, strengthen social cognition, and improve adaptability in puppies. And, well… the shelter even tells us that on their “day off,” pups cry EVERYTIME at the gate hoping to come with them for the studio. Which pretty much says it all. Between sessions, the puppies can return to their nap room — fully air-conditioned, peaceful, with fresh water and the same food they know from the shelter, to keep them balanced. They each have their own toy, for comfort and confidence, and treats from Royal Canin, just like at home. The studio itself opens directly onto the garden, letting them wander in and out, recharge, or just sniff the air. We chose marble flooring so nothing seeps in, no odors cling, and everything stays spotless. Some puppies are already house-trained, but if there’s a little accident mid-class, no worries, we’ll switch out your mat before you can even blink. (And yes, you can make a wish while you wait ✨.) Each session is gently guided by a team of 6, with at least one person from Aseman Bali Dog Association, who knows every puppy’s personality, even their little preference. Some prefer a collar, some don’t. That’s why you’ll see they all have a different type of necklace, and some collar free ! Gentle, thoughtful routines, designed to give rescues a second chance. And yes, even our participants have a few golden rules to follow: ・Let them come to you, never the opposite ・Only pick them up while sitting ・Sleeping? Let them sleep ・No disturbing while eating or drinking ・No shoes. Clean hands. Calm energy (or a bit of playful chaos if they’re in the mood) ・No outside food Because these aren’t just puppies. They’re rescues, here to shine, finally again.

Not Just Clean. Puppy Yoga Bali Clean.

We treat cleanliness as a ritual.
But proudly, obsessively picky.

While you’re busy falling in love with them,

here’s a preview of our gently obsessive habits.

→ Yoga studio & puppy nap room cleaned every day. Twice. By two separate teams.

→ All mats bleached after every single session

Animal-safe disinfectants only

→ All puppies come from one single trusted shelter : no mixing, no surprises

No shoes, no outside food, and hand washing is non-negotiable. For everyone.

→ Weekly professional deep disinfection by a specialized animal-safety team

→ All puppies fully vaccinated

→ Controlled airflow and ventilation designed to keep everyone comfortable

Our team of 6 keeps a close eye on every moment, gently making sure little accidents get handled instantly (yes, make a wish, and we’ll swap your mat ✨).

It’s cute. It’s clean. It’s clinically thought-through.

Because caring means being this precise.

Beyond the Mat: Community Projects for Bali’s Dogs

We go beyond the studio.

Helping Bali’s dogs doesn’t stop at puppy cuddles.

We proudly already sponsored a sterilisation and vaccination campaign for street dogs, organized by the association with trusted veterinary teams:

32 dogs sterilised

→ 41 dogs vaccinated against rabies

Safer communities, healthier futures

We also open our studio for free to associations who want to host adoption days, giving them the perfect calm, joyful space to meet adopters.

And whenever another rescue group needs help, we do our best to say yes. From sending emergency dog food, donations during hard times, to sharing our network to send a Puppy abroad to join his future family…

Because Puppy Yoga Bali was created from a real passion for dogs, we’ll keep finding new ways to stand by them.

Funded directly by the benefits of Puppy Yoga Bali.

A rescue dog from the association Aseman Bali dog association

Full article : We wanted to go beyond the studio walls. We’ve always believed that true change for Bali’s dogs means taking action wherever one can, and however one can. That’s why, when Aseman Bali Dog Association organised a sterilisation and vaccination campaign, in collaboration with PDHI vets at SMAN 1 Selemadeg on March 5, we stepped in to proudly sponsor it. Thirty-two dogs were safely sterilised, giving them a healthier future and limiting unwanted litters. Another 41 dogs received life-saving rabies vaccinations, protecting not only them but entire communities around them. These seemingly simple interventions create a ripple effect of safety and health across Bali, for humans and animals alike. But that’s just one example. Beyond the walls of our studio, we always open our space completely free of charge to local associations who wish to host adoption days. It gives them a peaceful, joyful environment to introduce their rescues to potential families, without worrying about the stress or expense of finding a venue. Every new home means another life transformed, and more room to save even more dogs. We also know that rescue never sleeps. That’s why, whenever a group reaches out, we do our very best to say yes. From sending emergency dog food donations during hard times, to helping other associations cover medical costs, to even sharing our trusted contacts and logistical know-how to get a puppy safely abroad to meet their forever family. When we can, we always try to help. We don’t pretend these efforts alone can fix everything. But we do believe they can change something. And sometimes, that “something” is the world of one dog. And that’s enough to keep us going. Because Puppy Yoga Bali was created from a genuine passion for dogs, we’ll keep finding new ways to stand by them, again and again. Funded directly by every smile, every booking, every person who joins our journey. We can’t wait to discover the face of the next dog we will save.
